Welfare Check Leads to Arrest on Park Avenue

On January 3rd, 2023, Lee County Sheriff’s Office Detectives, Patrol Deputies, and Narcotics Agents arrested Danny Ray Stewart (41) as a result of a welfare check that was conducted on Park Avenue in Sanford. During the course of the welfare check, deputies located Stewart in possession of Methamphetamine and paraphernalia.

Stewart was brought before the Lee County Magistrate, who issued a $3,000 Secured Bond.
