New Year's Party Shut Down By LCSO

A new year’s party at the Lee County Jail was cut short after LCSO Narcotic Agents and Patrol Deputies conducted an operation at the Lee County Jail on January 1, 2023. 

During the investigation, Deputies were able to identify 6 individuals who were involved in a plot to smuggle Suboxone, Marijuana, Tobacco, and K2 (synthetic cannabinoid) into the Lee County Jail to distribute to inmates during visitation. 


Estefani Granado Canales (19) was arrested and charged with three counts of Possession of Controlled Substance on Jail Premises, two counts of Provide Contraband to Inmate, Maintaining a Vehicle for the Sale and Delivery of Controlled Substance, two counts of Conspiracy to Deliver Marijuana, and two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Canales was issued a $60,000 secured bond by the Lee County Magistrate.

Mekhia Amil Harrington (18) was arrested and charged with Possess of Controlled Substance on Jail Premises, Providing Contraband to Inmate, Conspiracy to Deliver Marijuana, Simple Possession of Schedule III Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Harrington was issued a $30,000 secured bond by the Lee County Magistrate.

Marco Sanchez (18) was arrested and charged with Possess with Intent to Sell and Distribute Marijuana, Providing Contraband to Inmate, Conspiracy to Deliver Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Sanchez was issued a $20,000 secured bond by the Lee County Magistrate.

Victor Mauricio Lopez (19) was arrested and charged with two counts of Conspiracy to Deliver Marijuana. Lopez was issued a $7,500 secured bond by the Lee County Magistrate.

Jonel Shamar Headen (19) was arrested and charged with two counts Conspire to Deliver Marijuana, Possess Controlled Substance on Jail Premises, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Headen was already in custody of the Lee County Jail and received an additional $25,000 secured bond by the Lee County Magistrate.

Robert Bernard Fox III (20) was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance on Jail Premises. Fox was already in custody of the Lee County Jail and received an additional $5,000 secured bond by the Lee County Magistrate.
