Traffic Stop Nets Four Arrests & Drugs

On Wednesday, March 30th 2022, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Agents concluded an investigation involving a source of illegal narcotics coming to Lee County. Agents intercepted a vehicle containing approximately 116 grams of Methamphetamine, 29 grams of Heroin/Fentanyl, 12 grams of Cocaine, 15 grams of Marijuana, and 6 Dosage Units of Buprenorphine Hydrochloride.

Agents arrested all four occupants of the vehicle for various drug offenses.

Dashawn Antonio Chappell (19) of Troy, NC was arrested for Trafficking Heroin by Possession, Trafficking Heroin by Transport, Trafficking Methamphetamine by Possession, Trafficking Methamphetamine by Transport, Possess With Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule I Controlled Substance, two counts of Possess with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possess With Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule III Controlled Substance, Possess With Intent to Sell and Deliver VI Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Chappell was issued a $300,000 Secured Bond and held at the Lee County Jail.

Haleigh Rose Dennis (18) of Troy, NC was arrested for Trafficking Heroin by Possession, Trafficking Heroin by Transport, Trafficking Methamphetamine by Possession, Trafficking Methamphetamine by Transport, Possess With Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule I Controlled Substance, two counts of Possess with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possess With Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule III Controlled Substance, Possess With Intent to Sell and Deliver VI Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Dennis was issued a $250,000 secured bond and held at the Lee County Jail. 

Donyel Rafael Delmar (43) of Lumberton, NC was arrested for Conspiracy to Traffic Methamphetamine, Conspiracy to Traffic Heroin, Possess with Intent to Sell and Cocaine, Conspire to Sell and Deliver Schedule III Controlled Substance, PWISD Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and also served with an outstanding failure to appear for Assault on a Female. Delmar was issued a $202,000 secured bond and held at the Lee County Jail.

Pamela Rena Thomas (43) of Charlotte, NC was arrested for Conspire to Traffic Heroin, Conspire to Traffic Methamphetamine, Possess with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Felony Possession of Cocaine, Possess with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule VI Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Thomas was issued a $200,000 Secured Bond and held at the Lee County Jail.
