Search Warrant Executed; Four Arrested

On Thursday, March 24th 2022, Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Agents and Sanford Police Department Narcotics Agents executed a search warrant at 605 Canterbury Drive in Sanford. During the execution of the search warrant, agents located trafficking amounts of heroin, as well as methamphetamine and marijuana in multiple locations inside of the home.

At the conclusion of the search warrant, four suspects who lived at the home were taken into custody for various charges.


Matthew Gene Gooch (40) was arrested for Trafficking Heroin by Possession, Possess With Intent to Sell and Distribute Methamphetamine, Possess with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, as well as two counts of Possession of Firearm by Felon. Gooch was held at the Lee County Jail with a $150,000 Secured Bond.


Xavier Torres Vite (38) was arrested for Trafficking Heroin by Possession, Felony Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possess Marijuana up to ½ Ounce, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possess Marijuana Paraphernalia. Vite was held at the Lee County Jail with a $100,000 Secured Bond.


Rebecca Sue Will (35) was arrested for Trafficking Heroin by Possession, Felony Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possess Marijuana up to ½ Ounce, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possess Marijuana Paraphernalia. Will was held at the Lee County Jail with a $100,000 Secured Bond.


Randy Lee Pierce (58) was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was held at the Lee County Jail with a $5,000 Secured Bond.
