Eighteen Year Old Arrested For Drugs

 

On Sunday, June 20, 2021 agents of the Lee County Sheriff’s office Narcotics division arrested Morgan Jones, age 18, of 904 Lanier Farm road, Sanford. Jones was arrested for possession of 2 grams of crystal methamphetamine.  Agents were contacted by the Lee County Sheriff’s office uniform patrol deputies who were at the Econo Lodge serving a failure to appear warrant for possession of heroin on Jones.  During the course of their arrest, deputies found that Jones was in possession of crystal methamphetamine along with several “loaded” syringes.  Jones was transported for processing. Jones was charged with one count of felony possession of crystal meth, and one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Jones is jailed under a $17,500.00 secured bond.
