Traffic Stop Nets 57 Grams of Meth

On April 11th, Narcotics Agents arrested Carlos Antonio Beane (47) of 6207 South Plank Road, Cameron NC as a result of a traffic stop conducted on Key Road in Cameron.
 
During the course of the traffic stop, agents located approximately 57 grams of Methamphetamine in Beane’s possession inside of a vehicle he was a passenger in. 

Beane was arrested and charged with two counts of Trafficking Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Vehicle for Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Beane was brought before the Lee County Magistrate, who issued a $150,000 Secured Bond.
