Traffic Stop Nets Wanted Felon

On Tuesday February 15, 2022, at approximately 2:54 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Agents conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by Diante Teryl Roberson (23) on US 1/Jefferson Davis Highway.

During the course of the traffic stop, agents located Roberson in possession of approximately 4 grams of Heroin, as well as a concealed firearm under Roberson’s driver seat. Roberson was also discovered to be wanted by the U.S. Marshal’s Service for a Federal Probation Violation. Roberson was arrested for Trafficking Heroin by Transport, Trafficking Heroin by Possession, Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, Carrying Concealed Gun, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Roberson was issued a $350,000 Secured Bond.
