On Tuesday July 13th, 2021, at approximately 3pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics agents ended a 31 day joint operation with the SBI. Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics agents executed a search warrant on the residence and property of 1919 Pumping Station Road.
Over the period of 31 days agents were able to purchase on four separate occasions a trafficking amount of crystal methamphetamine from Nicklaus Cain Rogers. In the course of the warrant execution agents apprehended both Nickalus Rogers and brother Kelly Rogers, without incident. Agents conducted a thorough search of the residence, and discovered approximately 9 individually wrapped in clear cellophane baggies containing crystal methamphetamine, 118 dosage units of suspected Xanax and 8 dosage units of Adderall. Kelly Rogers had attempted to conceal the controlled substance in his bedroom air duct. The 9 individual packages had a combined weight of 13.43 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
Both Nickalus and Kelly Rogers were transported to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office for processing. Nickalus Rogers was charged with four counts of trafficking methamphetamine by possession, four counts of trafficking methamphetamine by sell, four counts of felony maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of storing and selling a controlled substance, four counts of conspiring to sell and deliver a controlled substance, four counts of sell and delivery of a controlled substance, and four counts of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Nickalus Rogers was jailed under a $500,000.00 secured bond.
Kelly Rogers was charged with one count of felony possession with the intent to sell and deliver crystal methamphetamine, one count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance, namely 8 dosage units of Adderall, one count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver a schedule IV controlled substance, namely 118 dosage units of Xanax, one count of felony maintaining a dwelling place used for the storage and sells of a controlled substance, and one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Kelly Rogers was jailed under a $40,000.00 secured bond. More arrest to come from this investigation.
