License Checkpoint Nets Arrest; Several Charges

On April 17th, 2023, Emmit Leroy McNeill (53) of 631 Wild Plum Lane, Sanford, was arrested following a traffic stop conducted during a driver’s license checking station. 

Lee County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division Deputies located cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia during the course of the traffic stop. McNeill was charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possess Marijuana up to ½ Ounce, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Exceeding the Posted Speed, and Driving While License Revoked. McNeill was brought before the Lee County Magistrate, who issued a $5,000 Secured Bond.
