Two Inmates Charged with Drug Possession

On Monday, January 3, 2022, Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Agents conducted a search of the male dormitory of the Lee County Jail. During the search, agents located a small amount of heroin, as well as a small amount of suboxone, in the cell of Bobby Paul Wade and Timothy Monroe Mabe.  

Wade and Mabe were charged with felony possession of controlled substance on jail premises, felony possession of heroin, simple possession of schedule III controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. More arrests are expected, as the investigation is ongoing.
